Macy and I began our visiting in the beehive state, Utah.
We spent a day with my sister Cheryl and then lunch the next day with her daughter Heather and her family!
My first stop was at Cheryl’s house.
No, she doesn’t live in a chicken coup.
She was showing me her chickens and checking for fresh eggs.
Sadly, there were no fresh eggs.
Chickens can be finicky like that..
It was love at first sight.
Cheryl’s holding Kevin.
Kevin’s got Macy on his mind.
Macy’s still thinking about the chickens.
It was a very fluid situation.
She also has two horses.
They keep her company and landscaping expenses to a minimum.
We had spaghetti with Italian sausage sauce for dinner.
Garlic bread too!
She gave me this canteen. Just like the one I had as a boy. Except the carrying strap isn’t broken on this one.
She gave Macy this soft comfy travel pad.
Thanks Cheryl!
Thanks for your hospitality and the gifts Cheryl.
It was great visiting you!
The next day, I had lunch with Heather and her family at their home.
Sorry I didn’t take any photographs.
Our time was short and I spent all my time talking and shoving Subway down my gullet.
Heather’s husband Coby was kind enough to take these two photographs as Macy and I were leaving.
Thanks for a great visit. I hope the next one is longer!
